There are several books on my bookshelf that I’ve already read. As a minimalist, the books I already have read usually get passed on to friends or strangers (The Little Free Library), or traded in for another book. Some make the cut and are defined as “want to and probably will read again.”
These are books that have transformed my life in a positive way. As time ticks away with more great reads getting passed on, details from those life tranforming books get lost. It is time to pick it up again.
Rereading the same book may seem like a waste to some. If the material is worthwhile, a good stoic will give it the time it deserves and read it again.
